Prairie Grain Bread Co.

One of my favorite locally made breads is the 9grain bread with flax seed made by the Prairie Grain Bread Co. in Midlothian VA. I get this bread at the Ukrop's on Forest Hill Ave. They carry several of their pre-sliced sandwich breads. The Prairie Grain Bakery in Midlothian carries other products including muffins, and soup. Their website has photos of the husband and wife team who own the company, and information about the products. The wheat is from Montana and stone ground on site at the Midlothian shop. Honey is the only sweetener they use.
