Thanks to Jonah for this excellent resource -- a map of all our area farmer's markets. Clicking on each location reveals detailed information on that market.
I think ET is trying to get a market together. Grammy-O's was there last week and it's the drop-off spot for Avery's Branch Farms' raw milk delivery. More markets mean more opportunities for our local farmers (which translates into more income for them).
And that can only be a good thing, no matter how you look at it.
Elwood's? A "farmer's market"? Spare us, please.
ReplyDeleteOr did one of Elwood's minions put the Google Map togather?

More income for ET? Yeah, sure. A hardly wonderful thang.
ReplyDeleteNow if we could just get a farmer's market at 17th and Main.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, wouldn't a indoor/outdoor all weather market like a small scale version of the Eastern Market in DC be nice.
I didn't think of this idea and I don't care who steals it. I'm just sick of see 17th Street languish. Paul Goldman? Where are you?
Or Cross Street Market in Bawlmer.
